3 May: The Senate of the New School of New York has voted to expel the Zionist Hillel for supporting the occupation of Palestine by Israel such as organising birthrights trips to Israel and volonteering the IOF. The New School leadership rejected the vote. Even though the vote was rejected, it put a spotlight on the collaboration of Zionist projects in the USA and the occupation of Palestine in Israel.
3 May: After a student of the University of Sydney was detained as hundreds rally at the Sydney Town Hall for the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla activists. A senator offered support.
4 May: The Ukraine filed a complaint against Israel for accepting Russian wheat from occupied Ukraine. This is the third time the Ukraine has demanded Israel to stop receiving wheat of Russia. Israel is permitted to do whatever Western countries are not permitted to do.
4 May: Hannah Einbinder wore a jersey of the Palestinian Lajee Football Club in the TV show “Hacks”. The Lajee Football club is linked to the Aida Refugee Camp and the Celtic Glasgow football club.
7 May: Actress Melissa Barrera who was dismissed from Scream 7 for voicing support for Palestine is launching a new pro Palestine production company. She aims to work with Javier Bardem, Susan Sarandon, Hannah Einbinder or Poppy Liu.
8 May: Several Pavilions were closed in solidarity to Palestine during a protest against the participation of Israel at the Venice Biennale. The Israeli Pavilion was also closed, likely not for solidarity. The Austrian had a sign with the mention that some workers decided to take part in the manifestation.
9 May:The EBU warns Kan not to publish commercials to vote all 10 times for the same artist which it was doing. The EBU could have warned KAN also for publicly threatening other ESC candidates in the last years, which it didn’t.
9 May: A tapestry depicting the history of Gaza will be displayed during the Venice Biennale.
11 May: The EU imposed sanctions on violence supporting Israeli settlers and their organisations.
12 May: Lamine Yamal waved a Palestinian flag at Barcelonas champions tour through the city. the German trainer Hansi Flick did not openly support him but much more would have preferred if Yamal focused on football. But Flick is in Spain, a very Palestine friendly country and former Barcelona player and manager Pep Guardiola defended Yamals Palestinian activism publicly, Spains President Pedro Sanchez as well.
16 May: French Galatasaray Player Sacha Buoy bore a Palestine flag during the title celebrations emulating Lamine Yamal.
16 May: A pro-Palestine march was held in Vienna before the Israeli singer Noam Bettan would sing his song at the ESC.
21 May: The Israeli Minister and war criminal Itamar Ben-Gvir (likely one of the most racist people in a Government) was finally declared persona non-Grata in Poland (not for the innumerable breaches of international law, but) over his treatment of Polish citizens which were captured in international waters and arrested in Israel.
23 May: France also issues en entry ban for Itamar Ben-Gvir for the treatment of French and European citizens.
