5 December: After the EBU permitted Israel to participate in the Eurovision Contest, Spain, Slovenia, Ireland and the Netherlands withdraw from the Eurovision Contest.

5 December: The Green Party of Australia demands from the Government of Albanese that it withdraws from the Eurovision Contest.

5 December: China to provide 100 Mio. $ in assistance to the Palestinians.

5 December: Polish lawmakers Robert Biedron and Marcelina Zawisza demand that Poland follows the example of the other countries boycotting the ESC.

7 December: About 600 Australian protesters demanded for Australia to withdraw from the ESC. The former Australian ESC contender Montaigne performed at the rally in Melbourne and also demanded Australia to withdraw.

9 December: The Israeli Elbit Systems excluded from NATO tenders due to bribery allegations.

10 December: Iceland also withdraws from the ESC 2026 because Israel is permitted to participate.

10 December: The Swiss National Councillor Raphael Mahaim demands the tax exempt status for the UEFA to be withdrawn for as long as it supports Israels occupation of Palestine.

10 December: A small protest demanding the boycott of the ESC in front of the headquarters of the Finnish Broadcast

11 December: Zohran Mamdani, the Mayor elect of New York was received by a large gathering of the anti-Zionist Satmar community, to celebrate the escape of their leader Joel Teitelbaum from the Nazis. The Satmar are one of the largest orthodox Jewish communities with ca. 300’000 members.

11 December: Nemo, the Swiss winner of the ESC 2024 who demanded Israels exclusion for the ESC 2025 returns his trophy to the EBU.

11 December: 17 Portuguese musicians of the Portuguese Singing Festival which qualifies for the ESC stated that they will not compete at the ESC if they win.

12 December: Charlie McGettigan, the Irish the 1994 winner of the ESC also returned his trophy to the EBU.

13 December: The German police began an investigation against the fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv for inciting violence against Palestinians.

16 December:Theophile Schenker and many other members of the Cantonal Parliament of Vaud in Switzerland demanded a review onto the tax exemption status of the UEFA in the Canton of Vaud due to its support of Israels occupation of Palestine.

16 December: At the Eurovision Contest of 2026, Palestinian Flags will be permitted and boos will not be censured out if they occur during the performance of Israel. Palestinian flags were not permitted at last years ESC.

17 December: Over 200 high-ranking MPs of Parliaments all over the world nominated Francesca Albanese and Doctors of Gaza for the Nobel Peace Prize. MPs from Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, etc.

17 December: The Irish Bohemians FC presented a new Keffiyeh inspired kit together with the Irish rap group Kneecap.

17 December: The Austrian Tamara Flores withdraws from the ESC qualifier Vienna Calling. She alleges “personal” reasons.

18 December: 170 artists condemn the decision by the Belgian Broadcaster to take part in the ESC despite Israel being permitted to take part.

18 December: La Zarra, The French candidate to the ESC 2023 supports a ESC 2026 boycott by France. This is of course almost nowhere to be found in the media.

December: The Swedish Dockworkers Union (SDU) voted to impose an Israel boycott for military equipment. Shortly afterwards, the speaker of the SDU was fired.

22 December: Staff of the Italian Broadcast RAI started a petition to withdraw from the ESC.

22 December: The 12th Portuguese ESC candidate confirmed that it would not participate in the ESC 2026 if they’d win in the qualifications to the ESC. Now only 3 of 16 candidates would participate in the ESC.

30 December: Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv is find with 10’000€ over racist slurs by fans at the game of the EuroLeague in Valencia.

31 December: Spain demands from 7 different companies to take down touristic ads for services in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Spain is a bigger tourist market than occupied Palestine by Israel, so it might work.
