Some Universities permitted scholars, mostly professors to advise the Ariel University how to become better, or become better occupying Palestine. They are believed to be some of the brightest minds on earth yet they support the occupation of a foreign territory.
In 2023 the members mentioned also that the location of the University is difficult, why they did not mention. In 2023 we believe that other members of the evaluation committee might have withdrawn as there are only three and 2 are from Israel. They mention an ongoing war but the report is from February 2023, many months before October 2023.

In January 2020 an Evaluation Committee for psychological science visited Ariel University. Following an excerpt from the report:
Research faculty were also given generous seed grants from the university,
but they reported difficulty in obtaining external research grants as a university
located in the West Bank/Samaria, although they have not been successful in
obtaining internal Israeli grants either. Some faculty go through colleagues in other
countries to obtain funding.
