2 February:It was made public that France has issued arrest warrants for two French women involved in blocking aid transports for Gaza<\/a>. The warrants were issued already in last summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 February: The Gran Sasso Science Institute has pledged not to work with Israeli institutions<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 February: 25 Swiss lawyers have accused Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis at the International Criminal Court for supporting the genocide in Gaza<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 February: Jews of Australia published an open letter against the visit of the Israeli president Isaac Herzog to Australia<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 February: Hind Rajab Foundation filed a criminal complaint against an Israeli soldier <\/a>in the USA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 February: China seems to have classified Israel as a high risk zone<\/a> and banned investments in Israel. Hard to believe but might give some hope to Palestinians. Settlers sued a Chinese company to buy the remaining shares of a company in the West Bank, but the Chinese company alleged Chinese government restrictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 February: The Israeli olympic delegation of was met with boos at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 February: 250 Swiss academics demanded that Switzerland withdraw from the academic research pact with Israel<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 February: A Greek open letter demands a boycott of the ESC with the slogan No song for the genocide<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 February: Israeli President Isaac Herzog is met with protests while visiting Australia for a Bondi Beach massacre memorial<\/a>. Would be only fair if Israel permits foreign heads of state to visit Gaza for massacre memorial services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 February: The British Palestine Action won a trial against its designation as a terrorist organisation<\/a>. Pal Action will remain banned until a further court date on the 20th February when the Government decides to appeal or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 February: UN rapporteur for Palestine refuses to step down after French and German foreign ministers demanded her resignation<\/a> over her naming a common enemy which enabled a genocide in Gaza. She said that she is not surprised by the demands of France and Germany as they are both close to Israel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 February: Indian actress and author Arundadthi Roy cancels her appearance at the Berlinale<\/a> over scandalous declarations by the festival Jury over Gaza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

14 February: The SOCAR Gala in London was targeted with a protest for its support of Israels genocide against Palestinians<\/a>. The oil flows through the Ceyhan pipeline in Turkey which should not be possible because Turkey imposed a ban on trade with Israel, but of course Erdogans friends are permitted to circumvent the trade ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 February: An Israeli done manufacturer Easy Aerial who’s drones are also used in Gaza and with th ICE in the USA is ousted from the Brooklyn Navy Yard<\/a>. It became an issue at the New York Council but it went through anyway. A council member who identifies more with Israel than the USA opposed the cancellation of the contract, but it seemed to have gone through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 February: Lebanons President Aoun raised the issue of Israels occupation of Lebanon when the German President Steinmeier visited in Beirut<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 February: Three women wearing Israeli flags were expelled from a Museum in Madrid, Spain<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 February: The Asset Management of Canadas Scotiabank divested from Elbit Systems<\/a>. Scotiabank faced a strong wave of protests against events it sponsored which also made them cancel their sponsoring of the Giller Prize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 February: The Swiss commentator Stefan Renna of the state broadcast RTS spoke about why the Israeli athlete should not be present at the Olympic Games<\/a> and gave very good examples of why not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 February: The US Ambassador to Belgium Bill White strongly criticised an investigation against three Jewish circimsissors in Antwerp and demanded the closure of the investigation<\/a>. The minister of health defended the procedure as the three men need a medical degree to circumsize people and there are no exceptions for religious communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 February: Cimatheque, and Egyptian Film production company has withdrawn from the Berlinale following a demand by the Palestinian Film Institute<\/a>. Cimatheque had at least two films to be shown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

18 February: An open letter by Tilda Swinton and other prominent members of the film community demanded that the Berlinale announces its position towards Israels oppression of the Palestinians<\/a>. It argues that the Berlinale condemned the violence in Iran and the Ukraine but the violence in Gaza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 February: The voice of Hind Rajab won the Most Valuable Film award at the Berlinale<\/a>. Its director went up on stage but left it there in protest as Noam Tibon an Israeli General Noam Tibon was honoured at the same event as the director of the Voice of Hind Rajab was<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 February. On 140 suitcases on a plane to Israel were placed Free Palestine stickers<\/a>. The suitcases then were seen as dangerous by Israel and a through security check was performed on the passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 February: A crowdfunding was started for someone who was falsely accused of antisemitism<\/a> by Gil Ofarim, the recent winner of the German Djungel Camp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

21 February: Several Arab countries issued a joint statement denouncing US ambassadors Mike Huckabee agreement to Israel expanding beyond its borders<\/a> until between the rivers Nile and Euphrates on biblical grounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

21 February: Abdallah Alkhatib, the Palestinian film director who wan an award at the Berlinale 2026 with a movie about a people who try to survive an occupation, made a pro-Palestinian statement<\/a>. He accused the German Government to assist in the genocide in Gaza and hoped that one day there will also a be film festival in Gaza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

21 February: The Lebanese film producer Marie-Rose Osta won a price for the best short movie with a film about children who have super powers to destroy Israeli fighter jets<\/a> dropping bombs on Gaza. During her award speech she opposed the breaches of the ceasefire by Israel. Ilker Alper, who won the main prize for a movie about actors who were canceled and imprisoned for speaking up against their governments supported Osta shouting the Palestinians are not alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

24 February: The Jewish leader of the UK Green Party supports resistance of the Palestinians against the Israeli occupation<\/a> and also claims that Zionism is racism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

25 February: Over 60 councillors of the canton of Vaud demanded that expulsions of Palestinians are suspended in Switzerland<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

25 February: The premiere of the movie Scream 7 is met with Palestine protests<\/a>. Actress Melissa Barrera was dismissed from the movie for a pro-Palestine post and Jenna Ortega followed her soon after. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

26 February: Hundreds of filmmakers support Berlinale director Tricia Tuttle<\/a> after a high ranking member of the German Government announced that he wanted to dismiss her over a perceived antisemitic line the Berlinale follows under her leadership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

27 February: Israeli soldier was detained and put under house arrest in Turkey. <\/a>But later released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

27 February: Chevron withdrew as a sponsor of the French Quarter Fest in Louisiana<\/a> after BDS demands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
